Inagua, the southernmost island in The Bahamas, consists of Great Inagua and Little Inagua, with Matthew Town as the capital. Known as the “Bird Watching Capital of The Bahamas,” it hosts over 140 bird species and 80,000 West Indian flamingos. Great Inagua is the second largest island, featuring an extensive bird sanctuary and a national reserve for green sea turtles. Little Inagua is uninhabited but home to wild donkeys, endangered turtles, and a significant land and sea park.
